Gamma Iota, initials M.A.D. initiated in 1957. There's a match in the sisterhood db, but no phone number on record. I'm going to contact the DP for that area and see if she can track down the sister.

Wonderful! Wouldn't it be great if this turns out to be a lost or stolen badge and you were able to reunite the owner with it? Please keep us posted!

Unfortunately the DP's records on the owner end with a change in 1998 and she is officially listed as 'lost'.

"Lost" Frustrations
 

I can't tell you how frustrated I get with the "lost" thing. I have spent several hours this summer trying to find some of the lost members on our strip list. Every time we do a mailing, it seems like we get a handful of invitations back that are not deliverable. The same seems to be true of our email addresses too!

In this case, it really is a shame since we can't contact the owner about her badge.:(

Oh, I second that! I'm trying to get a new Alumnae Chapter going, and there are very few phone numbers and almost no e-mail addresses. So, I sent my first mailing out via snail mail. That gets expensive. It was quite discouraging how many I got back as "address unknown."
