Come meet IOTAs

Being the youngest member of the NPHC, I know Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. still remains a mystery to many members of other BGLO's. Well I would like to give everyone the opportunity to find out something new about IOTA. This forum is the IOTA Meet & Greet. Come ask whatever is on your mind, or simply say whats up. You may also share any experiences you have had with IOTA's. The doors to the Centaur's Lair are open.

Well I look forward to meeting a man of Iota. When I was in school we had no Iota's on our campus. To this day I still have yet to meet an Iota, so I am truly looking forward to it. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks for stopping through KL. Much love to you.
We would love to meet you. Do you belong to any organization? If you don't mind my asking, what campus were you on? I am wondering whether we have bruhs on that campus yet.

Hey Hardrock,

No I don't belong to any organization at the present time, and I went to the Univ of Pittsburgh. Not sure if they have any Iota's on the campus even now.

For general information, check out our website at http://www.iotaphitheta.org
I live in the DC/MD/VA area so let me know if you are around this way and I will notify when we are having an event.
Curious, when and where did you first hear about Iota Phi Theta.

I have been to that website to check it out. I have also been so a few websites from different schools to see what you all are about.

Honestly I can't remember when I first heard/found out about Iota. I think it may have been 5 or 6 years ago to be honest. But the more I think about it, it may have been longer.

HardRock63,
I checked out the Iota website, very impressive. I must admit I had never heard of your organization until I came to Greek Chat. There are no Iota's on the yard at the college I attend. Keep up the good work. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks for the love CocoWoman.
Yeah, our fraternity is growing steadily and we strive to spread our influence everywhere. Please let me know which college you attend and what Greek life is like over there.
Brown and Gold Love to you sister.

What's up? I am in for a few minutes. How are you? I may already know you. I am in DC - Phi Sigma.

Thanks for the Love HardRock63,
To answer your question, I attend Edward Waters College a small HBCU in Florida. The Greeks on campus are AphiA,AKA, DST, SGRho, ZPB, Omega Psi Phi, KAPsi, PBSigma.

Hey BlueReign.
I am not sure if we have met or not. I pledged at Nu Chapter (UMD) and am currently starting to work with our DC Grad chapter Beta Omega. If we have not met, I am sure we will soon. Looking forward to it. Is Phi Sigma the DC grad chapter of SGRho?

Well, I personally don't know any Iotas, but from various posts I've read, you gentlemen have shown nothing but love and respect for the Sorors of my illustrious organization, Sigma Gamma Rho.

I have nothing but that same great love and respect for your organization as well.

And who knows, maybe one day I'll be fortunate enough to meet an Iota man. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey your Founders' Day is quickly approaching isn't it? I think a Soror from my chapter posted information about it on our yahoo groups. There is supposed to be a banquet and many sorors from the chapter may be in attendance.

Sorry, you asked me a question and I have been gone so long that I am just now seeing this. Yes, Phi Sigma is the DC grad chapter. If we haven't met I am sure we will.

Hi Iotas!

I just wanted to take a minute and say Hi to the men of Iota. I have known about you since my college days back before you made the pan. I have always been impressed by the intelligent and together way you represent yourselves. I look forward to seeing more of you guys on the west coast!
