Passing of a Young Kappa
 

Hi there,

I am a member of Epsilon Psi at UCSB. I wanted to inform other Kappas with deep regret that we had one of our members pass away a few weeks ago. Robin was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in high school as a 15 year old and she survived. Her cancer came back during freshmen year and sadly, she was taken from us. Robin is truly an inspiration to our chapter, and she participated during fall rush and told a heartfelt story about her personal battle on pref night. I will always remember Robin as an extremely strong, driven and caring individual. She was a true and faithful member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and I wanted to let other sisters know about a truly exceptional member of our organization.

My thoughts and sympathies go out to Robin's family and the sisters of Epsilon Psi. It sounds like she expemplified the true ideals of Kappa.

One of my friends is a charter member of the UCSB chapter. I am so sorry to learn of this loss for your chapter, and for Kappa.
