The arrest warrants say Dr. Anna Pou and the two nurses intentionally killed four patients at Memorial Medical Center “by administering or causing to be administered lethal doses of morphine sulphate (morphine) and midazolam (Versed).”

In an accompanying affidavit, an agent for the Louisiana Justice Department wrote that Pou told a nurse executive three days after the hurricane hit that “lethal doses” would be administered to those patients who could not be evacuated.

I'm glad it's not my nursing license on the line!

just my opinion and all... but the DA seemed to be a prick when it came to the question period - specifically whether the victims had their possible suffering and drowning death releived by the actions of the accused...

Personally I wish that more effort was expended going after those pricks that abandoned the aged and the infirm to boil and drown in the old folks homes - but hey I guess going after the hospital folks that stayed with their charges makes better press :mad:

They didn't tell the families or the victims. They had no choice. They were murdered.

And if they want to go the sympathy route, they should look into the eugenics programs that the Nazis administered under the guise of sympathy.
