Property Taxes & Indiana Supreme Court
Chapter housing boards in Indiana may not like this news; housing boards around the country can probably empathize with the constant need to keep up to date with taxes and paperwork:

In the four to one majority ruling, the court ruled unconstitutional a "special law" passed by the Indiana General Assembly that would have allowed Pi Kappa Phi, Alpha Tau Omega and Sigma Chi to retroactively file for property tax exemptions after they failed to do so in 2000 and 2001. |
Thanks, and this may be the reason that HQs are looking for other cites to place themselves else where.
I cannot remember the bill that is being nurtured about giving breaks to GLOs for Houseing. I am going to try to find it and voice My oppinion. I hope others will do the same! We need it!:) |

While You are correct, I was told that tax breaks for GLO Nationals are becoming less.
I know of one IHQ that is looking into other areas of the country and some others may also. |
