Thanks! I've seen this video several times. It's actually funny because it highlights an irony: Atomic Dog has a "timeless" feel to it, even though it's a an early '80s song. I suppose it goes to the fact of the real creativity (under the influence of various substances :)) of George Clinton. It's truly a uniQUE song! I also read that the sound tech actually recorded the drum track backwards on it contributing to this sound.
At the Marchdown at the LA Conclave in '96 at the Shrine Auditorium, George Clinton performed 'Atomic Dog' on stage. A mass of bruhs jumped on stage and hopped--just what you'd expect to happen.:)
