The other chapters did fairly well I believe, however I know for certain that two houses did not make quota. I also heard a rumor that a third didn't, but that would not be surprising; they often take under quota because of their exclusivity.

I'm happy to say that I'm one of the new members and I'm really excited! National test is coming up sometime next week, wish us luck!!:) :D

ok, after reading the explanation from KSU, I have to admit that I thought wrong. I thought the quota was how many you needed! lol
Our chapter could take as many girls as we wanted cause we're the smallest sorority on campus. Only 14 girls. The other 2 sororities have 30 girls, roughly. So I don't really know what the quota was!

I don't understand.. what is quota? We don't have that here... hell our greek community is only 3% of the entire campus.. so, someone explain to me what quota is and what it means if someone doesnt meet quota

If your school doesn't have a formal recruitment process fir its sororities, you may not be familiar with it (though any school with 2 or more national sororities is supposed to have it).

In formal recruitment, quota is the max # of women a sorority can take in its pledge class (based on the number of women participating in formal recruitment). A sorority that meets quota has pledged the max number of women allowed, and that's a good thing.:)

ah, we do have totals, but not quota.. we're only allowed to have 60 girls per house, but that has never happened on campus. this is a very greek unfriendly campus so, yeah.
