Photoshop Airbrush/Touch Up Tutorial...
Okay, this is just amazing. I mean, it's OBVIOUSLY touched up, but it's neat to see how it's done and to be able to try it on your own...I'm not saying every photo needs this attention, but if you are getting ready for recruitment or making a phamplet or poster or something, it'd be worth having clean photos...
This tutorial shows how to make that creamy skin you see on models in photos!! http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=171753 I decided to try it myself and it actually kinda worked!! haha, I know I can still use more practice, but here is what I came up with: Before: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...eandeileen.jpg After: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...eileencopy.jpg Before: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ipdinner-1.jpg After: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...dinnercopy.jpg I also put these images as roll-overs, so you can see the difference more clearly here: http://www.kavefish.net/~whitedaisy128/photoshop/photoshop.htm (the roll-overs have to load, so they don't work immediatly) Plus, it's just really fun to play with...If you are into photoshop, I'd love to see some things you come up with. |
CJ I'm still working on making a banner to show you!

Photoshop confuses the hell out of me...I use Paint Shop Pro,I find it a lot easier to work with
|
Wow thank you for that! I am thinking about going back to school for graphic design and this has just increased my interest in that field.
How much is the program? I've wanted to get some better photo programs and just play around with them. |
:( Photoshop is VERY expensive, I don't know exactly, but I'd guess the newest version (which is not what I have) would be $500-$600. :( A lot of computers have photoshop elements installed which allows you to do some neat things, just not all that photoshop can do. We had a copy floating around my family, that's how I got it...but my copy is several versions old.

Holy shit! Any way of getting a bootleg one? Lol you can PM me and let me know. I never knew it was that expensive. That is part of Adobe right? Is there like a whole Adobe package? I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff. I use Microsoft Picture It! and it does the job, but I'd love to get more into it. What is Illustrator and what is Photoshop? (I know what PS is but what is the difference?) |
I got my copy through the ex-boyfriend who had it somehow. I just wanted to play around with it, but no way in hell was I willing to spend $600+ on a computer program.
|
You can get cracked verisions of it, I just don't knwo where. Lik I saidI don't use Photoshop cus it confuses me.

A new copy of Photoshop CS2 from Adobe is $649. If you're going back to school, you should be able to get an academic discount, but that will probably drop the price only by $100 or so. Really, if you're going back to school for GD, you might as well get the bundle of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and GoLive becuase you'll probably have to learn how to use at least two of those programs, if not all four, at some point.
I learned a similar technique in one of my photoshop classes, but they didn't go through quite as many steps. It works for what I do, though. |
Yeah, it's $$$. I don't know about the free trial, but if all the features are avaliable on it, that'd be cool. Tutorials are the way to go with photoshop to help you learn...then once you feel more comfortable with the tools, you can experiment on your own.
As for bootleg copies...haha, I stay around from that stuff...but I'm sure if you try hard enough, you could come up with a copy. |

I downloaded the trial which is how I know that you could lol |
What do you think of acquiring one on ebay?
