another girlie thread- Bronzer

This morning I was very upset to discover that my bronzer that I love broke. They don't make it any more so I have to find a new one. I'm pretty pale, so I need something not too dark that isn't going to look beyond fake. Can anyone recommend some good ones to me?

Casper the Friendly Ghost here!! I feel your pain.

Mary Kay makes a great new bronzer-- just use sparingly.

Also, I had a consultation at Sephora a while back and instead of bronzer, they took a darker pressed powder and used that on me-- it had the same effect and didn't make me look like I had a dirty face. I love it! I use Bourjois (you can also get it at Ulta).

I kind of mix my own powder and bronzers. I mix together various shades of actual bronzer and regular powder. It's really easy to do and I never have to worry about a color being to dark/pale because I can lighten/darken it with the mix of other powders.

I'm really pale too. I use Victoria's Secret bronzer and I love it.

Physican's Formula makes a really good, inexpensive one. YOu can but it at most drug stores, or places like Target. Here's their website, http://www.physiciansformula.com

I really like the one that looks like seashells. YOu can use the more natural colors, or the deeper colors to make yourself look even darker.

The one I had was a VS bronzer and I loved it, but it broke and I can't find it any more. :(

Did you keep it or throw it out? If you kept it, break it up until it's a loose powder. Then you can continue to use it.

OH NO. I haven't bought bronzer in forever. I hope my type wasn't discontinued.

I use Benefit Hoola.

I'm partial to M.A.C. bronzer, the shimmery kind. As with all bronzers you have to adjust how much you put on to make sure you don't end up looking like you are wearing too much.

Glad you like it. :D

I just bought some from Arbonne. I haven't tried it out yet but it's for any color tone of skin. The darker you want, the more you put on.

I am not that pale, but I use a translucent powder from revlon that is just a bit warmer than my skin and then my clinique blush--together they made a really nice bronzer. and easy.

I'm partial to the Chanel bronzer. I can't remember the color....maybe Sienna? It doesn't give your face the dirty look that some bronzers can give....I had that problem with the Nars bronzers. I used to use MAC and I liked that too.
