I'm lost...is this a book or something?

They are both books. Philosophical way of dealing with conflict/disorder/business/life.

I need to read these books. I have so little time for personal reading. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif

I definitely have Sun Tzu on my bookshelf. Ever since I read The Art of War for a PoliSci class in college I have owned a copy. I think that Tzu's most important lesson is that you have to win the battle BEFORE stepping on the battlefield. I think a lot of his writing can be applied to everyday conflict.

The Art of Peace is kind of the counterpoint to The Art of War, IMO. It's more about maintaining harmony. I think I appreciated the Art of War more (LOL) but maybe I'll be more harmonious when I get older!

Hee,hee,hee...(I keep trying to be more at one with the Art of Peace too)but I agree, I am definitely more in alignment at this point in my life with employing the tactics of Sun Tzu.

I am currently listening to the audio book. I won't do that again but I digress.

While perusing Amazon, I saw several translations of "The Art of War". Do you ladies have a favorite?
