Who Would You Be?

If you could be one person (Famous person) in your sorority who would it be? why?

RedefinedDiva 06-02-2006 06:29 PM

I'm confused by your question....

f8nacn 06-02-2006 07:24 PM

For example...you want to be one of the founders, a nationally/internationally recognized member (i.e., Phylicia Rashad, Maya Angelou, Dorothy Height, etc.,)

SummerChild 06-02-2006 08:03 PM

Most sorors are already famous in their respective circles, communities. Answer: we'd be our own famous conskeeted selves. LOL.

That confused me as well.

I think all sorority members strive to live as ideal ___________s
(name of org) should and embody the org's principles. There is greatness within each of us. :)

I don't want to be Soror Height (she is a Delta :D) but I want to make an impact on our society as she has done in her 93 years.

I thought that was what you meant, but I am unsure about what you expect one to say? As my Soror SummerChild stated, most of us may be "famous" in our own right. There is no reason to wish you had someone else's life. We blaze new trails and create own legacies.

I was definitely aware of that... I believe she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta...because this forum is not limited to members and sisterfriends of Alpha Kappa Alpha, I was trying to think of other "famous" members of all organizations...however, I cut the list short just to give an example.

No offense intended for the impacts you ladies have, I saw this question in another forum and thought it would be interesting to see how you all thought. As I can see, you all are of a different caliber than the other forum (not on greekchat) that I was browsing through.

Anyway, I totally agree with what my Sorors and Sistergreek CT4 have previously stated in this thread.

I think faith in action will agree that she has received (in private) a sufficient answer to her original question. ;) This thread can go into the GC abyss.

Agreed...
