Enron and Beta - more intricate than you think
We all know that Ken Lay (Chairman) is a Beta, but did you know that Jeffrey Skilling (Pres. and CEO) and Joseph Sutton (Vice Chair) are Beta's too? Below is from the Beta website:
Interestingly, all three members of the Chairman's office at Enron are Betas: Jeffrey K. Skilling, Southern Methodist '75, president and chief operating officer; Joseph W. Sutton, Ohio '69, vice chairman, and Lay Here are a few interesting articles I found - most recently, Zeta Phi discussing what they should do with Lay as a Beta brother: remove him or leave him on the 'Wall of Fame'. http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlot...n/14693449.htm This article below, is a very interesting read on Jeff Skilling - how he remains a good Beta today: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont...nt.991ba4.html |
There have been such cases in the past...
Baird used to say his Beta writing would not be complete until he had written Betas I know in jail, and Betas I know who ought to be in jail. |

Good to hear from you again Doc. On another topic, with your wise Beta knowledge, can you tell us a bit about the Denison chapter and the Wingless Angels? If anyone here would know about it, I'd guess it would be you.
