Rocky IV appreciation thread

Every time I watch that movie I dream of running in the Syberian landscape, through the snow, pulling a log. But then I realize that would royally suck and it's one of the reasons why Rocky goes cookoo in Rocky V.

I'm not getting much from GIS, but the Rocky IV training montage is one of the greatest in film history - ksigkid's pledge sons and I used to get hammered watching that movie to pregame, simply fantastic. It also spawned one of the best songs from Team America: http://www.npr.org/dvd/2005/may/team...adquarters.jpg |

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endID=54618640 He has the montage songs on his myspace. The first guy added me and immediately commented me, " I must break you!" My girlfriend thinks I'm a dork for getting so into these songs Johnny from Cobra Kai also has a good song on his myspace. This Drago has the song from when Apollo died, and Rocky was driving in his lotus thinking about his friends death |
The Rocky series - with the exception of V - were marvelous. I saw it in the theater w/my sister when it came out. The people were going nuts when Rocky started fighting back, jumping to their feet, cheering...
That's why I'm going to pretend that Rhinestone and that awful movie where he was a bodyguard NEVER EXISTED. *Rocks back and forth in chair* (They don't exist, they don't exist, they don't exist...) *Mumbles something about back in the war* |
