Dude weddings

Do we buy gifts for our brahs when they marry? I didn't see anything about a registry and I'm flying all over for bachelor parties and weddings so what would I have to buy? These people are loaded too so they'd be moving into a ridiculous house with every appliance one can imagine.

An autographed baseball or something? A lindsay lohan autograph??

In your case Rudey, a framed pic of BobbytheDon would be sufficiant.

Towels. No matter what, everyone always needs towels.

That's just about as gay as writing him a poem and giving him a DVD of Brian's Song.

Most of my buddies got me money, although one got me an autographed picture of my favorite athlete, and another got me a really nice cocktail shaker.

Of course, at the bachelor party they bought me a whole lot of alcohol, but that's a different story...

Get them something to use on the honeymoon or special occassions.

Rudey I got my friend towels for her wedding... :(

Most guys I know give cash. All of the weddings that I have gone to as a date, the guys have all given cash. It's the manly thing to do, I guess. Or gift cards. That way you don't have to cart stuff around.

But if you do decide to buy a gift, have them ship it to the bride's house (or the couple's house if they're already living together), so you don't have to haul it around, and the wedding party doesn't have to haul it home at the end of the night.

LLLLLLLMAO!!!!

I vote for a gift card as well to one of their favorite stores. Or treat them to a night at a hotel after the wedding. Or get him some wedding night thongs. :p

Does he like fish tacos? Have Wahoo's send a fish taco overnight with dry ice.

...and yes only one fish taco no room for sharing with the wifey.

I really hope he doesn't wear thongs because I just really always hoped I'd never have a friend that wore weird underwear.

How much for a wedding? 20 Ronald McDonald dollars?

Depends on your tax bracket and his, anywhere from $75 to $150 is what I've seen (although most were in the 100 range) - most guys tend to take whatever they would have spent on the present, and give a little more cash than that. I have no idea why.

You're not financially challenged, lol, so shell out at least $100.:D
