Parental Recruitment
 

Does anyone have really good sources for help with recruiting the parents of potential recruits? I follow the philosophy if you sell the parents you can sell the kids.

My own fraternity has some resources just checking to see if anyone else had anything. Thanks.

The NPC has a brochure specifically aimed at parents of PNMs.

I misread the title of this threat and thought it said "Prenatal Recruitment". I was picturing all these pregnant women talking to sorority representatives about which house their fetus should join when she gets to college!

at some colleges you can never start too early!!

Does the school do any Open House nights in major cities where you recruit students? UCF had a team of students and faculty that traveled to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Jax, etc., throughout the year to make presentations about the school and answer questions for parents and prospective students. This forum was a great time to pitch student life and Greek Life.

Mailings sent to parents help-- personalization "Dear Mr. Smith" are better than "Dear Parent of Future Student"-- it costs a little more but it works. With such a high quantity of mail, you'll want to auto pen a signature onto such a letter in blue, of course.
