NPHC Famous Greeks According to Greek101.com
I am researching some things and came across this site, Greek101.com.
It was very enlightening in terms of learning about famous Greeks for other orgs, i.e. Marla Gibbs being an AKA and Annie Lee being a S G Rho. I still read that Debbie Allen is a Delta -- NOT. They are still listing Morris Chestnut as a member of Phi Beta Sigma. Kind of disappointed to see only 12 Omegas listed. Really sad to only see 3 Iotas. :( It appears that Greek101.com takes contributions from US to provide them with additions and subtractions to the list. I gave them a list of Omegas to add, but I think we all know our own orgs better than outsiders do. Let's get our lists updated and accurate. :) http://www.greek101.com/lounge/famous.php?org=all |
The problem is many of US don't know the accurate info for our own orgs. So in many cases we are the ones giving the wrong info.

You would be surprised who folks want to say is a Delta. |
I know I've sent them a lsit before and they STILL have incorrect info. Very annoying.

WOW:eek: :o :( Did anyone also notice that they have Eunice Johnson (creator of Fashion Fair) as both an AKA and a Delta?:o |

I noticed Eunice Johnson as well as Alice Coachman Davis listed as an AKA and a Delta. |

They accurately listed me as a Delta. I guess that list isn't so bad afterall.
I remember an AKA chapter site a few years ago that had Sereena Williams as an AKA---I guess she was supposed to be an honorary. I always say first go with what your national headquarters acknowledges on the national website---it isn't an exhaustive list but a reliable start. |

misakes...
They have Johnny Cochran listed under Kappa Alpha Psi (correct) but also Phi Alpha Delta? What is that?
Also Paul Robeson is an Alpha, not a Kappa. Other than that, I guess it looks alright. I got plenty more I could add but who feels like typing? |
