Very classy to blame it on the media, Paul. I had almost forgotten he had remarried or had a kid.

That seems to be the general trend; the media is pretty busy breaking up marriages lately.

I'll gladly go with you - I never understood this marriage in the first place! The only thing is, I doubt that anyone will ever "replace" Linda, in his eyes. Plus, you have four (oops! Make that five!) step-kids to make your life miserable, too.

Yeah, I'm all afraid that my parents are going to call me to tell me that they're getting divorced and that the media is to blame.

BTW, call me jaded, but if Sir Paul didn't have a prenup with his new wife, he's a lot dumber than I ever thought he was.

Gotta agree with honeychile.... when you have that much money, no matter how much you love and trust someone, you've gotta have a prenup. Especially WHEN THEY OFFER!!!!

Maybe he made some sort of secret bargain with God that if he didn't prenup, Michael Jackson would go broke and the Beatles catalog would be up for sale again. I think the most she is entitled to is a quarter of his estate - English laws are different than ours.

Not sure about the modern day English laws on this stuff.

But i'd happily take 1/4 of his worth (which I think I saw was over 1.2 billion or something like that)

Well, I certainly wouldn't complain about getting a quarter of a billion dollar estate!:)

I just want Paul to be happy. I think English law on pre-nups are a lot different than ours though. She should only be able to go after what he made over the past 4 years and not touch anything he made before the wedding. She also darned well better not be able to touch a DIME of Linda's money, as Linda had an extensive fortune on her own that was left to Paul.

If blaming the media for the breakup is better than saying that Heather was a manipulative media whore who didn't want to give up the spotlight to her husband, then blame the media. If that means he's got to pay her off to get rid of her, then do it. Quickly.

Although, I have to wonder if Stella is thinking "I told you so" right about now?
