Vote for Sorors on the WNBA All-Star Ballot!

http://dynamic.wnba.com/live/allstar/ballot

We have a soror in the running to make this year's WNBA All-Star team:

Soror Wendy Palmer of the Detroit Shock (Center, Eastern Conference).

In addition, there is a space on the ballot to write in two candidates. The two Zeta Sorors I know of in the WNBA are DeMya Walker of the Portland Fire (Forward, http://www.wnba.com/playerfile/demya_walker.html)) and Tamika Whitmore of the New York Liberty (Center - http://www.wnba.com/playerfile/tamika_whitmore.html)

The game takes place on July 16, 2001 in Orlando and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

C'mon my bluetiful Sorors, let's stuff those ballot boxes!

Correction. Tamika Whitmore is not a Zeta.

You got her mixed up with Camille Cooper who got traded to New York from L.A. She pledged at Purdue.

Soror DeMya Walker of the Portland Fire *swears* Tamika Whitmore is a Zeta.

Tamika Whitmore's name was not on the roster of any line's of the Zeta Phi Beta Chapter at Univ. of Memphis. So she is not a Zeta from what I know. And do you know Soror DeMya Walker or something?

We e-mail each other back and forth quite a bit. She's invited me and my husband down to Portland for Portland Fire games since most of her family lives back east and she doesn't have many folks in the region to give her comp tickets to.

DeMya Walker is indeed a Zeta. She was brought in through my undergraduate chapter, Tau Theta, Spring 99.

Soror Malica Ahmad

It is indeed possible that Tamika Whitmore is a Zeta-even if her name is not on the roster at the University of Memphis. She may have been initiated through a graduate chapter.
