DFW area
I've never been to the DFW area (surprise, surprise) but I am going up at the end of July for a week. Any suggestions on things I should see/do? I think we are going to try and make a Rangers game and definitely hit Billy Bob's.
Thanks in advance. |
i smell a dfw greek chat gathering....
dfw is too spread out. where are you going to be exactly? |
Go to the Time Out Tavern!
|
Ohmygosh. Dallas GC gathering? I am so there!
Snuffers. go to snuffers and have their garlic cheesefries. Or go to Champions strip club. The best strip club I've ever been to in my life. BEST. |

If you get the chance, go to Tupinambas! It is the BEST mexican restaurant EVER! Seriously, it's been my favorite restaurant since I was little, and every time my family comes into town the first thing they say is like "When are we going?"
Get a #7, you won't be disappointed;) |

In Ft. Worth, go eat at Joe T's for Mexican food-my husband loves that place-but go early because there's alwasy a massive line outside the restaurant to eat there! It's right on the outskirts of Cowtown.

Joe T's is more famous for the Margaritas than the food........but it is good.

One word for food and entertainment... Addison. :D

Definately the one in Lower Greenville. I've been to the one in Addison as well. Much different feel than the Lower Greenville one. btw, the Lower Greenville area reminds me of this one area in Tampa, FL |
If you want to stay up north, I suggest the bars on Belt Line in Addison. If you are in far far north there's stuff to do in Frisco, but Addison has your 20-somethings.
Flying Saucer, Logan's, Sherlock's are fun. Duke's is another fun place. If you want to venture to Dallas, I suggest Lower Greenville. Lots of bars with mostly a college crowd. J. Pepe's: $8 margarita pitchers M-F 11 am - 7 pm Check out Humperdink's...they make their own beer and it's very good...also if you want to catch a Rangers or Mavs game, sit in the bar. They have little TVs at all of the booths as well as TVs all over the bar area. I will agree with Bobby. The Snuffers on Greenville Ave is one of the best. Get the cheddar fries (they have the best ranch dressing) and a Snufferita. Snuffer's happy hour is calling my name after work today. Glad it's Friday! |
And don't forget Two Rows in Addison and Allen - brewery on premises, and good brew and chow at that!
The Addison location is the CAP squadron's unofficial 'officer's club' on Tuesday nights. |
The South End? What's this about?
