Kappa Alpha Phi
I recently found out that my grandmother was part of a local sorority when she was at Mundelein College back in the 1930's. The sorority was called Kappa Alpha Phi. I asked if she knew if it had merged with a PHC group, and she said that she didn't think it had. Mundelein is now part of Loyola University Chicago.
I was curious if anyone had ANY information on the group. The only details that I heard from her was, KAPhi was not recognized by the college; they organized and met off campus instead, and that it was a local sorority. Does anyone know any more than this? Did it get absorbed by another group? Change names? Close? |
I have the 1930 Baird's and the only Kappa Alpha Phi listed is a foreign service fraternity.

Bummer...Thanks for the research though. :)

You'll see that the Women and Leadership Archives collection has the Mundelein College papers in archive - you might be able to request the microfilm of the papers and search for information that way. Signed, Google Diva Barb |
