Who's writing recs this year?
 

I'm helping the Houston Alum Assoc with recs that have come through from Alumnae Panhellenic and a few individual requests have already trickled in! Has anyone else started to get requests for recs (Fall 06) yet?

I got two girls from my hometown who want me to write recs for them.... They already know they want to be greek and they havent even graduated till the middle of this month lol.

I'll probably end up writing a rec for my cousin. She'll be going to Appalachian. She isn't sure if she is going to rush yet, but I'm hoping she will.

I think she will once she starts college. I also am encouraging her to because of the friends she'll make.

(of course I'm also being purely selfish. I want her to rush and then I want her to go ADPi. :D)

I've written one for a senior in my mother's church - she saw the ADPi sticker on my car, and we got to talking... and talking... and talking...! We met for lunch later that week!

If you're compiling a list, adpiucf, I'll be happy to write one, especially if I can talk with the PNM or meet with her first.

I will write one for a great girl whom I've know most of her life. She has been a camper at my camp and will be a counselor this summer. Her mom isn't too keen on her going through rush (mom keeps remembering when she was in college in the 70s and her friends were hazed), but I think she really wants to do it. She is an awesome girl! Smart, beautiful, gracious, etc. Just as pretty on the inside as on the outside.

I'm sure I'll also write some recs for some of the girls for the SA Alumnae Assoc via the local alumnae Panhellenic. When we went to our recruitment forum a few weeks ago, there were already girls asking about recs.

OMG - Hard to believe it is already time to think of recs!

I just learned of 2 yong women that members of our AA want to recommend, so I just might be writing some, too!

Not THIS year, but perhaps in a year or two to come I'll be actually writing a "real" rec :)
