Graduate Interest
Hi Ladies,
I have browsed some threads dating back to 2000 and am interested in finding an answer to this question. A little background: I graduated in 2002 with a 2.79 gpa (Social Work degree) and have been employed with the same company since September of 02. I do know members of the sorority; however, they are inactive at the moment and the others live back in Pennsylvania. On the graduate interest level, does your undergrad gpa weigh the same? I understand that on the graduate level, membership is by invitation only. I've been wanting to become a member since I was in high school which is quickly approaching 10 years. My journey will not be complete until I'm privileged enough to join the most illustrious and captivating Sorority in the world. |
Have you browsed the very first thread in this forum that states that questions about membership/intake will not be discussed? You are basically asking whether you are likely to be invited with your gpa. Sounds like membership/intake to me.

Hello!!
From one SisterFriend to another, I'm sure that the women that you know can answer your questions regardless of the fact that they are currently inactive, or you could ask the women you know back in PA. If they are anything like my MemberFriends, they will be more than happy to answer any general questions you may have. I wish you luck on your endeavors!! :) |
Before this thread is locked, I also was wondering about whether the poster read the Pearls of Wisdom. That is all.

Before this thread is locked, I was wondering if the original poster is familiar with the following GC screennames:
Dreamful One CkretCrush8 RoyalPinkastry Virtuouslypink You know, seeing as how all of the above 1)are from Richmond, VA, 2) share the same exact birthday and 3)work in the same field. |

Sorry for the post. |
Not claiming the other, huh?

The point is...
IMO, not related to your interest. If you have been on GC in various guises since 2000, you should be aware of the policies and procedures of this forum.

F8nacn- As someone that posted on GC before I was a Soror, let me extend some advice. Be humble and discrete in your pursuit towards Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. We all make mistakes...Lord knows I did before I became a member. Just be mindful that we are WATCHING all of the time.

Please forgive me for posting this thread...I didn't mean to disrespect or offend any members by posting this question. I will ask those that I know (yes...even those inactive members). |
