Nice blurb in Miss Nebraska's bio:

Emily is extremely involved in her sorority, Delta Gamma. She began her involvement immediately her freshman year as a Junior Panhellenic delegate and Greek Week chair. Emily’s love for working with computers and the internet lead her to spend three years as the director of electronic communications. She also served as the director of sponsorship, assisting in Recruitment activities. Emily is currently the Honor Board member-at-large and the Vice President of Membership. As Vice President of Membership, she was the Recruitment Chair for the chapter and was in charge of scheduling activities during the entire week of Recruitment this past fall. In recognition of her dedication to Delta Gamma, Emily was rewarded by being named “Outstanding Junior” her junior year in the house. She has also been involved in a mentoring program through her sorority, working with a third grade girl at a local elementary school.

Miss MA went to my high school and her mom is a teacher there. I dont know if she's greek but she attends Gordon College.

ETA: Gordon college doesnt have sororities

i was going to pull for miss nebraska because she is proud of her sorority membership , but now that i know she is a greekchatter, i'll be cheering all the heartier!!

Hey, that's cool...and Nebraska is one of our oldest chapters too (I think it's KAPPA chapter, if I remember?) so that's groovy.
It may even be THE OLDEST....there aren't too many "single letter designation" chapters left. Cool.

Okay, back to the thread. I only caught the last 10 minutes or so (I am missing my touch of tuning into pageants), but I thought the girl who was crowned was quite stunning.
