All About Brian

So I'm assuming some of the people who normally watch Grey's caught the sneak preview of the show tonight. I actually really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure what I thought it going into it, but I totally felt for the show's namesake, and def will check out it's "official" 1st episode tomorrow night at 10 on ABC. :)

Yup, just as I suspected. Reminds me of me. The lone single in the sea of married people. :p

Does anyone know who is the actress who played the girl who showed up for dinner at the very very end of the episode?

She looks so familar to me.

Thanks.

I like how they're going to make Matt from Seventh Heaven into a homo on this show. Oh wait they already did that on 7th heaven.

I want to watch this, but please tell me Amy Jo Johnson got killed on this episode and won't be back.

mu_agd 04-17-2006 11:25 AM

I'm pretty sure that was her only appearance.

Nope, I was a "stayover" from DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. (Don't watch Grey's Anatomy, although it does look like a good one)
Brian: I liked it, but not sure if I liked it enough to be back tonight.

And Amy Jo Johnson (AKA the Pink Power Ranger) was hella-annoying.

I didn't like this show.

It's been a while since Barry Watson stepped out of his Matt Camden role and into the one in Sorority Boys, but I can see this one working for him.

It's nice to see familiar faces in this ensemble cast: Rosanna Arquette, Sarah Lancaster [Everwood], Amanda Detmer [Final Destination, Saving Silverman], and my favorite...Matthew Davis [aka Warner Huntington, III in Legally Blonde].

And may Amy Jo Johnson never grace the TV again.

It's Matt Camden feeling sorry for himself once a week, I watched the first 15 min and couldn’t stand to watch it anymore. I just feel its one of those shows I'm going to sit there, roll my eyes and go "oh dear god" far too often to actually enjoy the show.

Amen!

The show was alright, I guess. Still not really convinced enough to watch it regularly.

Since it's creator is the same guy that brought us Lost, Alias and Felicity I'm sure there will be plenty more guests from other shows of his.

Lindz928 04-18-2006 03:16 PM

Eh, it definitely can't compare to LOST and Grey's Anatomy, but I liked it. I liked that they show that just getting engaged, being married, and having kids isn't the be all, end all of existence. They all still had problems.

And yup, still reminds me of my life in a small way. :p

I liked all of the characters (but agree completely with everyone who disliked Amy Jo Johnson- thank goodness she was gone).

Last night I thought to myself, "Please God, no more shower scenes or anything with Barry Watson wet hair!"

How :( that his hair's receding already.

Her jaw pisses me off. At least they didn't let her sing before they killed her off.
