How many lettered shirts do you own?

Here's a fun question! How many lettered shirts do you own? This includes any shirt with sewn/stitched/block letters on it (tank, t-shirt, or hoodie).

At last count I had about 20. I joined 2nd semester of sophomore year, so I don't have as many as girls my age who joined as freshmen.

OMG way to many, at least 10 and dont wear T-Shirts.

Going to give them for Auctions for Chapter!

Really prefer Polo Shirts!:D Got a pot load of those also!

only like seven, but i'm pretty new.

I think 13, but I'm not sure. I don't have all my clothes here. Some of my stuff is at my dad's place.

I have my Theta shirts that I actually wear (probably about 6 or 7), and then I have the ones that were willed to me by the seniors last year. (We have a senior wills dinner every year where the graduates give underclassmen Theta gear, function wear, and other random items that have special meaning to our chapter.... like Collin, the very large poster of a male abercrombie model that was found in a dumpster (?!) who resides in the hall outside the owner's room) But I digress. These willed shirts are usually from the 80's and they are pretty much unwearable, but they are so fun to own.

Between every sorority on campus making letter shirts for every single freaking event that happens, sports, etc, I probably have 50 or 60 Beta shirts.

Most of them are just gym shirts now.

If you meant solely stitched letters:

4 APhiA (one yellow, one black, one white, one black long sleeved)

2 APO (one black, one with blue camoflauge)

ADSigMel 04-13-2006 08:31 PM

I've probably got about 10. And I was only active for a year and a half!

If we're talking solely stitched letters, then I have about 10 Alpha Chi shirts. If we're including all sorority shirts, I had 63 at last count. I was only active for 2 1/2 years (and one of those semesters I was abroad!)

yikes, i don't know, but enough to make a giant queen-sized quilt and I still have like 10 left over. There isn't much border on the quilt, its mostly shirts.

Thats why i made the blanket tho, cuz who the hell needs that many sleep/gym shirts?

Oooh, what an awesome idea, to make a quilt out of old letter shirts. Kinda makes me want to keep getting shirts so I can eventually make a quilt, too! Is that a common thing to do?

This thread has directions on how to make them. You can also do a search with the phrase tshirt quilts and lots of threads will pop up.

I've made lots of them over the years so if you have questions feel free to ask.
