Hey, I am an Alpha Chi TKE at U of L. I am the Social Chair and was wondering if you guys had any great ideas for socials that the girls have enjoyed and that have just been fun.

sometimes we'll go to baseball or even basketball games as mixers. in the fall we'll go to haunted houses and cider mills, the girls like that a lot. We also use tailgates as social events too.

Try: bar-b-ques, bowling, or tailgates,

Socials as in Exchanges/Mixers? Grab-A-Date's?

As for exchanges - the basic themed ones are great...
"James J. Love Pajama Jam..."
"White Trash Trailer Bash"
"Stop Light" (Green if you're single, red if taken, yellow in between)...
etc...

As for Grab-A-Dates, which are big at my school for both sororities and fraternities (you go to other house's meetings and "grab" some of their members to go on a planned date)...
Our best ones have included going to "Go-Cart World"... Everyone loved that...

Our chapter does many social events like cocktail parties but I personally love Date Party...they are like smei formals...we are have a "taking care of business" theme

we just did a white t-shirt party and it was one of the best parties i've been to.

everyone wears a white t-shirt and brings a marker to write on everyone else's shirts(in case you didnt know what it was)

get 5 30 packs of natty and have a party shit its not hard

I guess we're kinda simple down here but when it's cool outside we'll plan a mixer with a sorority and have a bond fire. The girls always enjoy it.
