I expected him to fight to the end....I quess that's how it goes when you're all talk and no action....looks like the hammer was made of cheap glass.

What gets me mad is, if he KNEW he was guilty, why didn't he be a man and resign from the start? Politicians on both side of the aisle who pull that really yank my chain!

He doesn't admit to being guilty. He's not that stupid. He's still under indictment for some felony charges.

I was involved in politics long enough to know that
"I'm not guilty" + indictment + resignation = presumed guilt.

Of course he can't admit it yet. There may be 12 people in a jury box who will fall for his line.

You're a nurse.

I have no idea what the difference between geriatric counselor and nurse are, but I'm sure you came from a good family and maybe volunteered on a campaign but I don't think it qualified you to be a political pundit.

Either way you don't know, have nothing at this point to back up your statement, and that article made no mention of that.

Since you don't know the difference between a counselor and a nurse, I sincerely hope you never end up in a hospital.

Having worked on the Presidential Advance Team, and in the White House, I would consider myself qualified to speak on political matters. I could go further with my credentials, but I don't feel that I need to qualify myself to you.

As for backing up my statement, I have history on my side, ie: Watergate.

Janitors work in the white house as well.

And, again, you have nothing to back up what you are talking about.

Liars will be punished by the lord.

Anecdotal evidence is neither 'strong' nor supportive.

Also, it appears that the Presidential Advance Team is actually a coordination position, setting up sites for presidential visits (including motorcade routes, hotels, site visits, etc) - so I'm not exactly sure what this provides you beyond the layman to discuss the connection between 'resignation' and 'proof of wrongdoing' but feel free to enlighten me.
