Tom DeLay resigning
|
I expected him to fight to the end....I quess that's how it goes when you're all talk and no action....looks like the hammer was made of cheap glass.
|
What gets me mad is, if he KNEW he was guilty, why didn't he be a man and resign from the start? Politicians on both side of the aisle who pull that really yank my chain!

"I'm not guilty" + indictment + resignation = presumed guilt. Of course he can't admit it yet. There may be 12 people in a jury box who will fall for his line. |

Either way you don't know, have nothing at this point to back up your statement, and that article made no mention of that. -Rudey |

Having worked on the Presidential Advance Team, and in the White House, I would consider myself qualified to speak on political matters. I could go further with my credentials, but I don't feel that I need to qualify myself to you. As for backing up my statement, I have history on my side, ie: Watergate. |

And, again, you have nothing to back up what you are talking about. Liars will be punished by the lord. -Rudey |

Also, it appears that the Presidential Advance Team is actually a coordination position, setting up sites for presidential visits (including motorcade routes, hotels, site visits, etc) - so I'm not exactly sure what this provides you beyond the layman to discuss the connection between 'resignation' and 'proof of wrongdoing' but feel free to enlighten me. |
