I just want you opinion
As you can see from my username, I'm an Archonette.
My question is what do you think about Archonettes/Amicettes having calls or signs? Some undergrads (Zetas) have said that it would be cute, but some grads (Zetas) don't like it. I think it is because they want to make sure Archonettes/Amicettes understand that they are not Zetas. What is your opinion? |
Please refer to your Archonette Handbook. All you need to promote yourself is there. The national body of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. does not endorse calls or signs for auxiliary groups. In a few years, if you are eligible, you may be extended an invitation to apply for membership and if selected you will be able to enjoy the privileges that come with being a Zeta. Continue being the Phenomenal Archonette that you are, but keep your eyeZ on Z. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

The signs that we try to use sometimes are just for party walking or pictures with Sigma Betas. We have flyers to promote our chapter but when we step with some of the Zetas we don't use signs. I've heard of Archonettes from down South using the closed dove for their sign.
The reason I posted the question is because I am curious about why auxiliary groups using signs is seen sometimes as a bad thing. Quote:
