Ok, so we don't have a location or a date set yet. It is in the process. I want to find the location first and then set the date. We are wanting to have the ceremony/reception by the lake. Here are 2 dress I found over the weekend that I really like. The first one i'm in LOVE with. The sash would be a color bright blue (not primary blue, but a 'bright' blue).

I LOVE it!! And you look just lovely - like a princess!! Does the second have violets in the back?

In the second photo down, do you see the dress on the rack closest to you? Does that one look nice, too?

LOL...no, they aren't violets, they are just the clips holding the dress on me. lol! it was a trunk show and so they didn't have dress in all the sizes.

my vote has to be for the 2nd dress. i'm in total agreement with HB.

Those are both gorgeous dresses Amanda! My vote has to be for the first one though. I love the little bit of color and the skirt is so unique! I love it!!!

i love the second dress. i guess i'm more traditional and think that color should stick to the bridesmaids' dresses.

I love the buttons on the 2nd one. Kinda reminds me of the buttons on my first wedding gown. (sigh) Like VAgirl, I like color on the 'maids.

You look beautiful in both! And, even though you didn't ask us, I love the second one as well. It looks very sophisticated, but also just looks great on you! Now, keep this thread going with everything else "weddingly" so we'll know what's going on. I'm sure you want our advice on everything!:D

I like them both!! I have color on my dress (my wedding's in May) and I love it!!! Good luck with the planning and if you need any advice, I'll try to help :)
