Finer Womanhood
 

Hi Sorors and Sisterfriends,

I know I haven't posted in a while but I just wanted to make a brief comment about Finer Womanhood.

I am not trying to be rude or cause ruckus...but I felt the need to reply intelligently to some of the statements I saw in other forums...

For all that do not know Finer Womanhood is one of the Founding Principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. (The Other 3 are Scholarship, Sisterly Love, and Service) Each day, we as Ladies of Zeta Strive to live up the the principle we hold b4 us daily.

Now, I have seen in other forums that other Sororities use our cardinal principle and claim it as their own, and that greatly disturbs me. Whenever I hear the term the Epitome of Finer Womanhood...my FIRST and ONLY thought that comes to mind is a Zeta Lady.


One OrganiZation say that their purpose is to:
-to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards,
-to promote unity and friendship among college women,
-to study and help allevate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve the social stature,
-to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of service to all mankind.

Another Sorority's Principles are:

Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service


And while all 4 NPHC organiZations share Sisterhood (or Sisterly Love), Scholarship, and Service (or Community Service) as principles of their organiZation...there is ONLY 1 Sorority that saught the need to add Finer Womanhood...and it sets that Sorority apart from the rest (81 years and STILL counting).


The ONLY Sorority of Finer Womanhood is the one that Dons that Lovely Royal Blue and that Dovely Pure White, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, INNNNNNCORPORATED!

Pretty Kitty, enlighten me please. I am not on Greek Chat as often as I should be cause I'm so busy promoting "Greater Service, Greater Progress" and my own work in my community. This statement, I hope, did not come from one of my Sorors.
