Question from another community sorority
 

I was just wondering if any of you ladies could tell me where you hold your meetings?

My chapter meets in a dance studio right now, but we don't have much money and paying for the space is cleaning us out!

We are located in NYC and our apartments are too small to hold meetings in- any other suggestions?

Sorry to crash, but my local library rents meeting rooms to the public for like $10 a session. Check it out and see what they charge.

Local libraries are good, you might want to see if churches of any of your members would lend you meeting space. You could also make reservations at a restaurant and do a lunch/dinner meeting.

Most Beta Sigma Phi chapters meet in the homes of members. The members just rotate being hostess.

For a short time, my chapter met in a church.
