HELP!!!

I'm dating an AME Zion methodist preacher, which means someone might be a future first lady, I don't know anything about the denomination specifically, I grew up in a methodist church but I am nondenominational-can anyone help me with learning the doctrines and what not about your church.-And yes he's teaching me somethings but I want to learn from others of the church as well.
