Cheadle to Channel Miles?

Don Cheadle is miles ahead of the pack when it comes to a Miles Davis biopic.

The Oscar nominee is atop the wish list of actors being considered to play the late jazz god in a planned movie project, according to Davis' nephew, Vince Wilburn, who broke the news after his uncle was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Monday night.

"People are submitting scripts to Sony Pictures," Wilburn told reporters. "A few names have come up [to play Davis], but Don Cheadle's name keeps coming up."

Don Cheadle is may all time favorite. He will be awsome at showing Mile's intensity.

I can see Don as Miles....he has the intensity....I can't wait to see this...

I love Don Cheadle (sp?) He is so underrated. I KNOW he will be receiving an Oscar soon. He is great.

Hmm, maybe this can work. In terms of entertainers, I mainly envision DC as Sammy Davis Jr., because of his work in the Rat Pack biopic on HBO.

Honestly, can you think of any other actor that would fit? Don is perfect!

Don and KevinSpacey are so underrated. I think that he is one of those actors that Hollywood will fully acknowledge his greatness after he's gone.

I think Don Cheadle would be perfect for this role.
