Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Sure, and I'm wishing you all the happiest of St. Patrick's Day! May you enjoy the beauty of your heritage, and for those who drink, please don't drive!

And if you're redecorating your bathroom (or loo), you may appreciate this:

I am going to spend tomorrow evening as the only woman in a room with over 2,000 of NYC's Irish American men. It should be fun.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Pretty good deal! I'm not going out tomorrow, but Saturday instead. Too many drunken amateurs drinking on the 17th!

Well, greetings from Eire all...Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all. I'm enjoying a day off from lectures as it is a national holiday (here in the Northern 6 and the Republic of Ireland). It's more of a religious holiday here than a party holiday, but people still do party. I'm about to head to the fellowship hall for music and irish stew.

Cheers all, be careful.

Remember,
IRELAND FOREVER!

(also, today is Mr. Phoenix Azul's birthday...his name? patrick.)

Happy St. Patricks Day. My Grandma Treager was "orange" Irish (Prodestant), but since I didn't have anything orange in my closet, I wore Green anyway! :) :)

6 years ago I was in Ireland.
Last year I was in Jamaica.

Tonight I will be at Bogarts ( local college bar ).
Apparently the owner is hosting a "corned beef dinner".

Kind of excited, not gonna lie...Who says you need to be Irish to celebrate, because I sure as hell aint ( 1/2 Cape Verdean, 1/2 French ) !!!

Happy St. Patricks Days To You All :D

Optimist Prime 03-17-2006 10:41 AM

Now I will be pinched by a leprachon.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!! Not sure if I'm going to a pub tonight...I'm seeing Mr. Tau and he's not a big fan of big crowds.

Whats funny is that in Belfast today, people are overwhelmingly in the tricolor. The use of the tricolor vs the union jack is usually a contentious issue. I think this is the one day of the year where the tricolor isn't met with some form of contention.

It's also quite interesting that both Belfast and Dublin on the whole ar ebecoming extremely cosmopolitan. You tend to think of Dublin as the quintesential Irish city, truth is that it is experiencing a HUGE influx of immigrant labor, especially from places like Lithuania, Latvia, China, Malaysia, etc. It can be very hard to find people who speak English or are native Irish in Dublin.

Ahh the Celtic Tiger at work.

To all my Irish (and Irish for Today) GreekChat friends:

May you always have

A sunbeam to warm you
Good luck to charm you
And a sheltering angel so nothing can harm you
Laughter to cheer you
Faithful friends near you
And whenever you pray, heaven to hear you.
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

LOL! My eyes transposed the letters when I was reading your post and I thought you said "Greetings from Erie"! I was thinking, why in the world is that girl in Erie???

Here you go AXID670. Go to the Irish Name Generator . Announce your temporary name to the office and go across the street. For today, I'm Alannah Quinn. ;)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!:)
