Who's going?

I'll be there.:cool:

I thought I was going to be going this year but I didnt know I was going to get married or have the opportunity for a paid nursing externship :) So I wont be there this year.

I have hopes of going in 2008!

I wish I could go, but I'm currently planning a trip back to Iowa during that time. I love San Antonio, I'm sure that it'll be a wonderful time for all the attendees.

I will be there and it's my FIRST Grand Convention! I'm super excited and there's a strong chance that I will be the oldest member from my chapter (I'm member #5) so I heard I would get to carry the flag for our chapter. Cool!

Anyone else going to San Antonio?

Cool, ThetaSis. You'll most likely get to carry the placard with your chapter's name. The chapter president/delegate will carry the flag next to you. It'll be a great experience.

Rest up before going to San Antonio - it's a whirlwind, and tons of fun.

I wish I had attended when it was in SoCal last time, but it was relatively expensive and not being too far out of college means my expendable cash flow was minimal. :-(

What chapter are you representing? I am the President for the San Diego Alumnae Chapter.

I'll be attending this Convention as Nominating Committee Secretary (for nominating the Grand Council slate). I think this is my 6th Convention.

too funny! Not only did ThetaSis and I meet at Convention, but we worked really closely throughout on NomComm. (And, I had totally forgotten this thread, so I didn't connect you mentally with "ThetaSis2GPhiB" until today, revisiting this thread.)

Great work at Convention - hope you got a lot out of it, too.

You all missed a good one - timely, organized, great choir, really good alumnae session with MariAnn Calais. . .

Hi Jane! I didn't put 2 & 2 together either...blame it on the lack of sleep. I was so exhausted by Friday morning!

I had an amazing time and hope to return many more times to GC. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE all Thetas who are able to attend to make it a priority...at least go once in your Theta career.

It was well worth it and to be on NomCom was a special experience. I am so much more invested in the future of Theta.

Theta love to everyone! I am riding the wave of Theta love & can't wait for Miami in '08. :D
