Just starting off
I'm trying to reactivate a local sorority from the 1930's with very little information at my college and I was just wondering what is the basic outline and procedure for recruitment, or "rush"?

Visit some of the recruitment pages hosted by some of the larger 'Greek' campuses - most have detailed schedule information for sorority recruitment. This will give you a general idea of what is done for NPC recruitment. You might also want to visit the Locals forum and search through there for ideas.
|
if you have very little information about it, why do you want to restart it?

wow, I really feel like some of the people who post on this message board have some really mean comments. I'm sorry if I posted my questions in different forums because I felt they dealth with different aspects of a sorority, and might reach seperate readers. The group took some time off of planning so I forgot about posts from the previous year. I have gotten some great advice from some people, and I suggest if you have advice to post it, but please don't waste your time by lecturing others on lost of crediblity.

I wasn't trying to be mean. I am always pm'ing people with helpful advise if it is not appropriate for the board or is too personal etc. Read what BetaRose said. She is our resident expert in locals. You may want some thicker skin too because the university administration is going to be a little tougher to navigate than a bunch of faceless greekchatters. |
Sick to death of it!
Why are you all being so nasty to this girl? So she's new to sororities. Big deal. Are you really so pathetic that you need an ego boost from bashing her? You're adults! Why don't you act like it?!

thank you.
