Are you speaking from experience?

I mean, I accidently did it when I rubbed some on my legs, forgot to wash my hands, and re-adjusted my furniture down there, but you said that like you enjoy it.

Between the ages of 12 and 17, approximately 376 one-gallon tubs of Icy Hot were consumed in my household.

Well, I liked the icy part, but the hot was what made me realize what a mistake I truly had made.

I've never heard of it, but dogs do respond well to music. We've used both Andre Segovia and James Taylor to calm the dogs and it worked miracles. They either fell asleep or just got really mellow.

I've mentioned in threads before about my dog and how she's developed a barking problem lately when we're gone. Well, this weekend we got another puppy, and now she barks too. :) Anyways, my husband, while looking for solutions online, came across this listing for a canine lullaby cd. I'm a bit skeptical as this looks like a crock. Has anybody used it or heard of it before?

I've used the Dog Sitter DVD. No, let me state that another way. I ONCE used the Dog Sitter DVD. It didn't work at all. My puppy still chewed everything we left out... including the Dog Sitter DVD case lol.

Crating worked for her, but I don't know if it would work for a barker.

I'd try to find a way to see what's on the Canine Lullabies CD (i.e. classical, jazz, contemporary, instrumental music?), then I'd just play music you own (that might compare to that on the CD) and give that a try.

Good luck!

I've never used that CD, but I do sing a lullaby to our Buffy every night. He loves it - you just have to say the word "lullaby" and he's upstairs on the bed, ready to go! I always sing the same lullaby, but when we're at the vet, or other places where he stresses, he loves me to sing to him. "Sweet Baby James" is one of his favorites.

AXiD670, I found the box of "Sock Puppet's Chill Pills" that we discussed. Here are the ingredients:

-Powdered cellulose
-Inositol
-Niacin
-Calcium Carbonate
-L-Trypophan (I thought dogs weren't to eat turkey?)
-Taurine
-Pyrioxine
-Hydrochloride
-Magnesium Stearate
-Zinc Citrate
-Vitamin D Supplement
-Vitamin A Supplement
-Sodium Selenate

It's made in the Netherlands, and recommends 1 tablet 3 times a day for dogs 11-22 pounds (Buffy is 17#). He's had a total of 4 in the past 9 months, when he was traveled, and when he was stressed out. My mother would rather give him 1/2 a children's Benedryl, but that either knocks him out OR makes him hyper.
