The line-up for Coachella is nothing short of amazing this year. I'm trying to get some people to go out there with me but it's looking like a no-go.

Lol, me too! Though I was wondering why a guy would be posting it, but hey, they make stuff for guys, too!

I'd love to go out there, but it's not in my current budget and I hate hot festivals....and as to your question about Madonna she has worked with a lot of top DJs, which is why she is performing in the dance tent. Whatever anyone says, she puts on a great show.

I would love to go but can't cuz of money. But to see Clap Your Hands and Imogen Heap, Paul Oakenfold etc - unreal. If anyone does get to go I will be wanting a recap!

While that conference looks cool, it's really limited - I'd much rather see Ladytron spin at Coachella, then be able to dip out and watch the Go! Team or Gnarls Barkley (which would be right up your alley - it's Cee-lo and Dangermouse).

LOL ew. It is pretty limited in terms of what music is represented, but for those who love house, it's the shit. You just have to know where the cool stuff is and avoid the rave/techno/trance/18 year-olds crap. I like that events are held at all kinds of venues -- poolside, hotels, clubs, etc. I'm not really into being outside all day with a mass of people.

Clap your hands is on tour this month.. actually about 1/3 of the bands playing Coachella are going to be playing shows in Detroit in the march/april time period, so if I cant go I guess I can catch em here.

I would really love to go to this but there's no way. I've seen some of the bands at ACL at least and hopefully will see some others of them next week at SXSW.

Don't even get me started on SXSW.
