Policy on pictures
 

I'm just curious if anyone knows the answer.

As far as posting pictures on myspace, can we have pictures up (of say graduation) that have other AOII's in it? As long as it's a regular picture (grad gowns and diploma), and the people in the picture don't mind it being posted?

The reason I'm asking is, a couple of sisters and I graduated last May and one of us has been told that she has to take it down b/c of headquarters policies. The other ones with the same picture up have not been asked to take it down. We are curious as to this policy.

Well, as far as I know that is not a policy. They are working on policies as far as Facebook, MySpace go..meaning does it reflect poorly on AOII? Does it represent AOII well? Furthermore, if a sister wants the pictures down just because she doesn't like it I would probably take it down and respect her wishes. As far as a policy though, that does not exist really as of right now. We were told at LA two weekends ago to read the Moral and Ethical Behavioral Policy that is online under polcies. If anything on the internet falls into that policy then it does not need to be on the internet. Also, it is going to be up to the chapters to add chapter bylaws about MySpace, Facebook, etc rules/policies.
