mixer ideas?
 

I just became a social chair and I am looking for some original mixer ideas. If anyone could help me out that would be great. Thanks, Josh

Sure, I can help out a bit. Go to a dollar store and buy a bunch of those fake plastic handcuffs.

Then at the party, distribute the handcuffs to the girls, and they have to handcuff themselves to a guy at the beginning. Then every 15-20 minutes, sound a buzzer or alarm, and the girls have to switch to another guy. Do this for 3-4 turns.

Or there is a pimp and hoes party. But we did ours with a twist. Every "pimp" was given some play money at the beginning. The girls would have to try to earn the money by doing silly(or sexy) requests for the guys. At the end of the night, the top three girls with the most money won a prize. You can get a refurbished apple shuffle for like $40 on apple.com. Tell the girls the winner gets an ipod and they'll be all over the pimps.

High school cheerleaders / high school jocks - wear the appropriate apparel -- school colors, skirts and letter jackets

Mafia & gun molls

Cartoon charachters - appropriate costumes and games

Disco - yes, guys, show off that hair on your chest. get a disco ball and hang it from the dining room seiling and play Saturday Night Fever in the rec room

Have an Ice Cream Social. Find a local Barber Shop Quartet to come in and sing - and lead sing-a-longs

Tom, last year a sorority came in to make announcements just before Halloween. Everyone got a little bag of candy - even me. When the girls left, I said, in my most lecherous voice:

"That's the first time a little girl ever offered ME a piece of candy"

The meeting fell apart and was closed!!!
