3.4 quake shakes East Bay

(03-01) (11:44) PST ORINDA -- An earthquake that measured at 3.4 magnitude shook the Bay Area at 11:34 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor occurred 2 miles southwest of Orinda with a depth of 6 miles.

The quake was felt as far away as San Francisco and Berkeley.

No damage or injuries were initially reported.
