Hey Shelacious....
Normally I don't read fiction novels, but I thoroughly enjoyed "Their Eyes Were Watching God". Thank you for the suggestion.
BTW, it did take about a chapter to adjust to the language. My favorite word was 'shonough'. I think that I might use it is some of my posts around here LOL. ------------------ "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." ~Harry S. Truman~ |

I think she spent many years of her life in Florida. Also, Shelacious pointed out that she was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. so support her (posthumously). http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif My maternal grandmother uses the word "shonough" all the time. That's why I was so tickled to see it in print! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." ~Harry S.
