Have you looked at the Schedule yet? Karaoke!! Heaven help me because I can't sing a note and about the only songs I can sometimes remember all (or most) of the words to is "Farewell to Nova Scotia" and "The Wee Copper of Fife".

That's what happens when you grow up in Nova Scotia. You learn to sing a song with the lyrics "Nic ka ti nac ki ti noo ra noo"!!

Hmmmm....could this have been prompted by the improptu karaoke at LI 2004?! LOL Personally, I think a lot of the collegians thought we were crazy! Oh wait, some of us are! ;)

From what I heard at LA this past weekend, it's going to be funny....like Exec. Board against Foundation Board, Chapter Presidents against Chapter Advisers....fun times :)

Hey ladies--

I think I mentioned this before, but I won't be at LI because
1) my presidency of the Phoenix alumnae is winding down to next month and

2) June 23 is the big 40!

So-- I want you all to take good care of my Girlene, Maggie Kipp who will be at LI representing Phoenix. She's our incoming president and she's a little nervous because she doesn't know anyone.

I told her my Girlenes from GC would take good care of her so make sure you find her and show some Alpha love.

(In case you don't know what a Girlene is--it's a cut above girlfriend and requires you to be cool like that. It started with my closest friends from high school/bridesmaids. Our motto is "The few. The proud. The Girlenes."

And since you're AOIIs--you've got it going on and so you're all Girlenes! If you'd like a custom Girlene t-shirt, let me know. :)

Hopefully I will be able to meet some of you this June! I will be attending LI.

For those attending LI this summer, should we do something like the last LI with a little secret sister thing? PM me if any are interested in a secret sister for LI - and we will try and coordinate a time and place to exchange before we get there.
