Please read this i need everyones input
 

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. Ok this is my dilema. My chapter is going through a tough time right now and i would really like to come up with an event that would bring our chapter more together. I need an idea that is different and fun. Please give me ideas. I love my girls and i really feel that something needs to be done to unite us more at this time.

how about a teddy talk? we had them in my chapter before big events like recruitment or initiation to build unity and remind all of us why we love Alpha Xi Delta. pretty much all you need is a nice fuzzy teddy bear and enough space for everyone to sit around in a circle. common themes were favorite AXiD memory, why I'm proud to be an Alpha Xi, etc... the only person who gets to speak is the one with the teddy - we never set a per person time limit, but it was sometimes discussed since with 70-80 girls a teddy talk can take hours!

We used to do those, but we called them "pass the teddy." :) We always did them about a week or so before Init. so that everyone was able to vent their feelings, but still have time to get over any hurt feelings.
