Recruitment Ideas
 

Hey ladies! I just found this board and I'm so excited to be able to talk with Thetas from other schools. I am the Recruitment Chair this year for my chapter and I was wondering if any of you could help me out.

One of the days that we do during out recruitment is video day. During this day, we talk to the PNM's and then show them a video that we have made. This day needs a current, unique, and interesting theme. Out most recent theme was Sex and the City (changed to Theta and the City) and that always was very popular but we are looking to change it up this year. Does anyone have any ideas for themes?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Any recruitment ideas that have worked for your chapter would be awesome! Thanks so much!

For this round last year we did a New York City theme. We got black shirts that said I Heart KAO on them. The writing was white but the heart was red glitter. VERY CUTE! We wore them with nicd black pants and stylish black shoes. We bought a card board statue of liberty standup. Our names tags were city outlines. We covered one wall in black paper that we ordered from www.shindigz.com and then we painted a city outline in white on it. On other walls we had black and white poster photos of NYC with red borders on them. The balloons were red mylar hearts with some black and white latex. We also bought red foil heart cutouts for the room. It turned out very cute!! I can send you a picture if you send me your email address.
