I'm going to go tell my husband now, he'll be heartbroken. He's such an Andy Griffith fan and we loved Don Knotts as Mr. Chicken (attaboy, Luther!)

His "guest appearances" on all those Scooby Doo episodes were always my favorite.

I agree. I liked the one Sonny and Cher and Momma Cass appeared on to.

But, now that I know what it's about, RIP. I loved him on Three's Company. :(

I am very sad to hear about this news. it seems like we're loosing a lot of the greats the last few months.

RIP:( I loved him on Andy and when they reunited on Matlock.

That's so sad. He was a very funny guy...one of the best.

Me, too!

I hear that he always liked his role as Barney Fife the best - I simply cannot imagine anyone else playing it. I hope he gets to have that bullet now.
