Florida Recount
 

First of all good morning to all my Elegant Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta.
I tell you I am so nervous down here in Florida, waiting on the recount results. I must say as I listen the the radio and watch the news there is too much going on (wrong) with this election. People are arguing that they were turned away from the polls and misleading ballot cards. Now come on there is just to much at stake here for them to just overlook these allegations. I say personally that Florida voters should have the opportunity to revote (If I had my wish and wishes came true). I think that there is going to be much more drama before everything is over. If what these people are saying is true there must be something done about the violation of our rights.

Good Morning Soror Stace1920!! I'm dissappointed that Florida is in the situation it is in. To me, it's a mess. I really hope things can get straightened out ASAP. Florida was not alone though...Other states had issues to a less publicized degree...

I was watching TV last night and there were reports of what other countries thought about the USA's 2000 Presidential Race. What they had to say didn't sound too good. They were saying that this catastrophy is far from the perfect image America is portrayed in by media. I agree. America has mostly (IMO) good characteristics, but our country is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination.

I'll keep my eyes open as news unfolds.
