Religion (believer or not)
Religion, people can argue over this topic for years. I am a believer, but I cannot believe blindly. I don't know why, but my mind always asks questions. To some this is lack of respect, to question what you are told to believe. Why do you think that is?
Another question, when you look at Catholicism, which is my religion, why do the rules, laws, sins or whatever some may call it, go against human nature so much. Have you ever thought about that. It is teaching us in a way to go against what our biological intincts tell us to do. Why would GOD play such a nasty little trick? And last but not least, who's religion is the right religion. Is it Judism, which seems to be more in tune with nature and our natural self, is it Catholicism which blocks you inside stone and mortar and the way to speak to God, example, to repent is through a father, is it Buddhism....what if you choose the wrong one. What happens then? What if you are not "Saved"? What if you are Saved but you are dirtier than someone that is not, will you go to heaven or not. Is religion just a way for man to control the masses? What is right or wrong...Why is religion such a touchy topic? Why are some not allowed to believe what they want...why do so many people die for it...like in the middle east...what is the purpose of a holy war. How many more have to die? |
myztical,
So many question! Nobody knows the right answers to anything. Who knows, all this time we think 2x2 is 4, what if it's actually 6? All things that are impossible to answer on the outside, but many of which we can find the answer to on the inside. You just have to have faith in what you believe. Here's a great link that I think you would enjoy. http://www.courierpress.com/cgi-bin/....html+20001028 |
You should see my post on the Delta site. It is under the "Non-Christians" heading. Please feel free to reply.
