Coretta Scott King Day in GA Proposed
 

On Tuesday, February 21, 2006, the Georgia House of Representatives
will
discuss HOUSE RESOLUTION #1276. The pertinent component of this resolution
is:
1. Recognizing Soror Coretta Scott King's birthday - April
27.
2. Displaying a portrait of Soror Coretta Scott King next to
that of
her husband in Georgia's State
Capitol.
Your immediate attention and response to this matter is needed
tonight.
Please send an e-mail to the following persons letting them know that you

For those of you who have not made it to Atlanta to view Soror Scott-King's gravesite, here are some pictures I took a couple of weeks ago when I was there. It was a sight to behold. I am humbled just to have been in her presence.
