Greek Conference

Hey Everyone,

I was just wondering if anybody has been to any Greek Conferences lately, or if they are heading to some soon?

I was just at IGLC, Indiana Greek Leadership Conference, at Perdue.

I will be heading to another conference in Chicago in February...we're staying at the Hilton the weekend of the 15th.

I'll also be going to Indiana State for another conference later that month. I'm so excited, and just wanted to know if anyone was heading to the same places or other awesome conferences.

In college I attended MIFCA/MAPCA, which is the Midwest Interfraternal/Panhellenic Conference Association. I had a awesome time and learned so much! It not only increased my respect and commitment to my sorority, but also to Panhellenic as a concept and institution.

Barb,
You took me way back with MIFCA/MAPCA. LOL! Those were the days. It was always so much fun. Meeting ALL those other Greeks, and partying with them. Too much!

Kymberleigh -- What did you think of IGLC? I go to Purdue, so I'm just kinda curious of your opinion of it.

Some of my brothers went to the thing at Purdue. They said it was pretty cool. What is going on at State? Is it just a sorority thing or what? I don't think I've heard anything about it, and I'm at Rose-Hulman, in the same town. I may be going to our regional leadership conference in Feb. in Chicago. I went to General Assembly this past summer in Atlanta, and the Regional conference in Feb. this past year in Indy. They were all great times!

TKEAZ1563,

I thought that some of the speakers at Perdue were great. The opening speaker was awesome, and the one who spoke on the Darwinism of Greek Life was good too. There was one on motivation that was anything but exciting. I was impressed with the time, energy, and effectiveness that the Greeks at your school put into it. It was great. Everyone was so much fun that weekend...I hung out with some Sig Eps, SAE, Theta Chi, Phi Psi, and met a whole lot awesome people.
